    I don't what they did to Voice activation/Siri in the last IOS update but I can no longer safely give one year old my locked phone to play with. At the weekend she poked at the screen and home button from the lock screen and activated siri. She said "Ahh doooo. Ahhh wawawa Ah doooo" The phone started dialing "Oh eight two one eight eight... etc" I was chuckling away until it rang and quickly connected and a very real and confused asian voice answered. I dived for the phone, grabbed it and hung up. The baby started crying. So did I. She'd dialed fucking South Korea.

  • that usage doesn't sound any different to what would have been possible on earlier versions of iOS. You can disable siri on the lock screen though, Settings > Siri > Access on Lock Screen. Should keep the one-year-old at bay until they learn to say 'Hey Siri'.
