Just wanted to grab the hive's thoughts on this MT-07 : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262661275996
I went to check it out, it's literally flawless, full Yamaha service history, clean as new, not ridden in the rain, kept indoors, etc.
Looking on ebay it's hard to see exactly what a fair price for a MT-07 is. £4,600 seems a bit high as I was offered the new SV650 @ £5k.
Also I haven't test ridden an MT-07 just the XSR-700 (which is essentially the same but a bit higher seat as I understand).
The guy understandably isn't keen on allowing test rides, so I'm thinking I should find a dealer to get on one just in case.
I'd snap that up if i were you.
I loved my MT07 and, at that price, it runs rings around the SV650. If I didn't need something for longer journeys (500+ mile days) i'd still have mine.
Hmm.... OK time to check the insurance cost and see if I can knock a bit off the price.
