Ooh.. they don't look that far away from the car park.
Did they feel anywhere near that fast?
-
• #284
@Howard you know I think that's the bit we did before they turned up ... :p
@BareNecessities it felt more like the helmet cam footage than the chest cam. They look like two different runs tbh!

Timber website is still giving trail conditions for the 21st of September, so that's not much use.

Has been a dry week though, so things should be running fairly fast.

Can anyone export a GPX of these? Not sure my freebie account lets me do it

is the car park central to the runs? just wondering if i can bring a change of clothes/rain stuff etc to leave in the car when we are riding without it being too far away?
-
• #293
Kind of. Was thinking that we could set off from Brandon park, over towards High Lodge. Then do either the 'Beater' or 'Limeburner' trail, then have tea/cake back at Brandon Park, before looking for some of that interesting off-piste stuff in the youtube vid.

Not a clue, I'm afraid ( also freebie account ), but this should take us there.
Route from Brandon Park to Super Gnarly
There's a nice little bit of singletrack on the way, between 0.3-0.7 miles in ( the only bit I know so far on that side of the road ).

I'll stick that ^ on my Garmin, but if others could do the same, It'd save me having to be at the front.
Getting to follow other people is a novelty I rather enjoy, when not at Epping :-)

am i going to die with 800s?
You'll be fine. I was using 785s on the previous 2 rides there and nobody died. I'm just fiddling with my fit a little.
What mtb have you got now, as you were using a CX bike at Epping?

What could go wrong?!
The overlay of the stats on the video are hilarious. Needs crosshairs, health and ammo though.
