  • They're fashion headphones that sound rubbish unless amplified. But the vast majority of people aren't ever going to amplify them. Anyway. Headphone thread>>>

  • As the owner of some and also someone who's very picky with sound quality, I think they're great. The sound is very true, clear across the range with a slight warmness in the middle.

  • Each to their own, innit. Personally think they're harsh and have a very thin, overly analytic sound. They sound better amped but still not for me.

  • Has anyone bought a PT winter training jacket? Somewhere between a softshell and hardshell?

  • Bought one, not worn it yet. Neither softshell nor hardshell, think of it more as a PT Windproof Winter Jersey with a breathable back panel.
I sized it to wear just an LS/Winter baselayer beneath it, so it feels more like a very advanced jersey rather than an actual jacket to me. I'd maybe throw a Rain Gilet over it if the weather was iffy.

  • I've a black long sleeve brevet jersey in XL from last year. Anyone want to swap for a large?

  • Anyone got a cross scarf they want to sell please? (The coloured one)?

  • rapha already discounting its "high viz" range...............

  • Snuggy, breathable and I really like the fit. Won't stand up to much rain though

  • Oh Come on! he means* scarf (wool) not scarf (silk)!

    *I think.

  • Thanks (and to @Mr_B). Sounds like a Gabba to me, which was kind of what I was after.

And for the record, I own a Gabba and think it's great, it just fits like a bag.

  • @Arvy cravat

  • @Alb top transatlantic lurking.

  • Same as the old 'Pro Team Jacket' with some detailing updates. Nothing like the Gabba but as Mr_B describes, best to size as if it were a Jersey, to be able to wear a LS Winter Baselayer underneath. Reviews here of the older version - http://www.cyclingweekly.co.uk/reviews/jackets/pro-team-jacket

  • 'slight warmness in the middle': comes with Brevet Insulated Gilet

  • PTJ is the best bit of rapha kit I own, wore it nearly every ride last winter. Ls baselayer for the really cold days & keeps the rain off for long enough unless you're out all day in it.

  • Anybody have a code that could make my new bibs cost a little less?

  • M0V3-T03U-R0P3 should work.

  • ta

    EDIT: NOT WORKING

  • Lulz

  • PR3B-R3X17-C057 any better?

  • Base layers, I have a pt jacket in M that fits perfectly. I'm 36" chest so right in between S and M on the size chart. What size base layer?

  • small.

  • Size down for sure, I'm 40" chest and M is baggy on me.
