    Good idea on flat-headed bolts, if suitable ones exist - but what you've linked to -- I think -- require a countersunk hole, which the disc rotor doesn't have, so they'll still stick out.

  • In think they'd work, I think it's what tester suggested to me. There is very little flex there, so you don't need a lot of room.
    Easiest fix is add a washer to the axle on that side- the fork is steel so will take it, and just add washers to the disc caliper too if needed.

    I got away with just flatter bolts rather than flat. I have about 2mm space now, Haven't had any probs.
