When will it all end?
This event will go on for as long as people want to protest like it does every year which is usually until midnight.
-
• #103
Basically anyone is invited who is pissed off with Tory government polices like austerity cuts, privatisation of public services, benefit sanctions etc.
These things are all the fault of the Polish, you said so yourself, why are you blaming the Tories for these things?

Is it just me, or are @Longbridge and @Goldsword very similar in writing style?

Anyone is invited. Is anyone welcome? You will say yes, but the whole presentation of the event is exclusionary. Come and join a masked predominantly white, young, male crowd to be non-directionally angry. Who by the way are also anti immigration. And who cannot understand why anyone would not want to join them unless they're closet Tories.
You said you'd been in contact with BLM. Did they respond?

And very similar, almost chivalric, names.

By the way this event was inspired by the film V for Vendetta: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhPw8pdK1UM

I'm pissed off with Tory policies, but not because they aren't racist enough. I don't feel I'd be welcomed by @Porksword and his Britain First chums.

If I'm polish am I still welcome to come along? I won't speak to offend you and your egalitarian chums with my accent and you won't see my beady, covetous, job thieving eyes for the mask, I promise-I just want to campaign for the right to be thrown out of a country I've made a net contribution to for the last 15 years that little bit quicker, as I'm secretly hoping you'll be forced to pay compensation on the devaluation of my property and savings post-brexit and also relocation costs.

But the previous year in 2014 at least 4,000 people attended...
So, The not very Anonymous 4 thousandths of a million mask march?
-
• #117
Last year the march made a very big impact! Have you forgotten the news reports about it already? Read this news report: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/11975183/Million-Mask-March-Anonymous-protesters-hurl-fireworks-at-police-in-London-live.html I know it is very biased though as the reporters have concentrated on the few violent incidents that occurred and ignored the reasons why people were protesting. They were protesting against damaging cuts to vital public services and against the sell off of social housing and against Trident replacement etc.

50 people arrested out of 4000 is not a small percentage. Police horses harmed, what kind of cunt thinks that is acceptable?
-
• #119
Riiiight, so to encourage us all to attend your event you've linked us a to an article in the Torygraph about how last years event went pretty tits up?
-
• #120
My maths isn't great but isn't 50 out of 4000 a lot bigger a percentage than 4000 out of a million?
-
• #121
The Million Mask March event was to protest against government austerity cuts, the sell off of social housing, the destruction of the NHS, benefit sanctions, the replacement of Trident nuclear submarines etc! That is why thousands of people demonstrated. Go here and tell them that you think they are all cunts: https://www.facebook.com/events/485894658146587/ I think they are working class heroes fighting for the rights of the people of Britain against savage Tory policies.

This isn't specific to the march but on a related topic I re-watched a bit of V for Vendetta the other day and was was struck by what an incredibly awful and morally fucked-up piece of neckbeard fantasy propaganda it was. Sensitive yet powerful underdog outsider with cultural tastes far too sophisticated and endearingly playful for the mass-media blinded proles kidnaps a beautiful and impressionable young woman in order to teach her the true value of LARP, eggy bread and pretending to like classical music. After he imprisons, tortures and humiliates her to make his foggy and ill defined point, she falls gratefully into his arms and becomes his compliant servant. I can't remember what happens after that but I assume it has to do with self sacrifice and involves grand romantic gesture culminating in her hot tears whilst watching parliament blow-up to the tune of Where is my Mind. Or I might be getting that confused with another neckbeard classic.
Anyway. Good luck with the march. Srsly.

I can't remember what happens after that
It turns out that he was Tyler Durden all along!
