I'm a bit disappointed, I've lost some respect from him. Anti-establishment posturing is fine, and entertaining, from a 20 year old, but this is just a bit embarrassing. It has no effect whatsoever on the music I love though.
Reading that through, it sounds odd to have lost respect for someone you never met, and don't actually know. I thought it was an odd choice for the prize in the first place.
He's not been particular anti establishment since his early days. He's always reinvented himself, refused and refuted catagorisation, and been a private man. Though offering the world different constructs of Bob Dylan through his phases. People have left him and people stuck with him.
