Thinking ahead to when I install my Hollogram SL + Power2Max setup on my Supersix, presumably adopting this technique would also involve the Power2Max spending some time getting freezy in the freezer?

No - you can install the spindle on its own or with the NDS loosely attached, then bolt on the drive side and tap the drive side with a mallet until it sits home. Then bolt down the NDS as per normal.

Ah yes, I suppose the spindle could be installed by itself. Not sure how you could install it with the NDS attached though - doesn't the spindle have to be installed from the DS given the shoulder on the spindle on the drive side?
