    Exactly this, plus it's (often) a selfish move by definition, whereby the jumper takes advantage of others' adherence to a code in order to break the code themself.

    If nobody stuck to the code it would be chaos, but because most people do stick to it, it means that a few can disobey it. What makes you so important that you think you can be one of those few?
