If you're doing a fresh install then why not just a fresh install of Win 10?

Because I'm a cheapskate getting the Free Win 10 install via the Assitive Technology route.

I might of managed to get a HP i7 for a silly price of £150 but damned if I'm paying for a Win 10 licence! ;)

Is it necessary to update to get that though. I was going for the update from w7 but installed w10 direct.

Probably depends on your windows key I guess
