I'll have to strip it down completely regardless, so I guess the cost of posting back to Germany & the hassle of boxing up etc may outweigh the bother of taking it to Evans for example?
Rock and a hard place. Evan's wouldn't be my first choice. You'd be forever at the back of the queue. A small indy might be better as they'd be motivated to get the thing out of the stock room / warehouse.

I'd hold Cannondale responsible as the defect would be a result of their lapse QA, whether I'd be covered by any consumer rights I don't know?
Honestly I really should have given up on Cannondale. First CAAD 10 written off less than 5mins into first ride. Supersix HM had to send back the first two frames received as the rear dropouts were 'out' and now this. Fucking balls.
