EU referendum, brexit and the aftermath

The Beeb at it's simpering, flag waving best.

I may be perceived as of the extremes described previously but during the IndyRef in Scotland the BBC was ever so quietly biased. Not to a degree that would permit oversight or investigation but just consistently and strategically skewed enough to make it very obvious what was going on.

This was of course mirrored by all the main media outlets with the inevitable effect that what you got to read or, more often the case see, down south was a carefully curated gallery of unionist bullshit.

Of course, I'm a ranting, extremist loon so don't take my word for it but the BBC is no more independent than any other mouthpiece of the state and hasn't been anything else for a long time.
