SSCX Only!

looking for an SSCX wheelset for disc brakes, any suggestions or do all of you SSCXers build their own?

just any xc 29er wheelset?

sorry should have been more specific, I'd like a set that's not principally designed for 10-11 speed but with a single speed hub

Does it have to be singlespeed specific?

I just use a regular rear wheel with a single sprocket and some spacers to get the chainline right.

@andyp Yes that would be the easiest option, but my friend doesn't like the look of it ;) it shall have to be a 'clean and dedicated' build

a decision he'll/she'll regret after first proper cx rides on his/her 500 sterling chris king ss specific cross wheels that cant be converted to 1x11 :-)

Realm of custom builds, haven't looked but Dmr/Halo/Hope might do something off the peg ready to roll.

looks nice, but have you got any pictures of the clearances?

No, but the original have massive clearance for 45mm tyres plus mudguard, so CX tyres (33-38mm) will have ample room for muds, especially on the rear.

edit: can i just buy frame and fork? If I buy the bike, there's a lot of shit on there I don't want/need.
