At least when you inevitably trip over the chord and break the port, you can just use one of the other ones.

tbf I trip so hard it's not just the laptop I'm worried about. I've pulled the plug clean out of the wall on several occasions and that's only because I walked at the right angle. If I came at it wrong I foresee a 2 gang socket and some live wires hanging out of a crumbly, plastery mess.
