The new xbox one s was only released last month so buy away. It outputs at 4k for netflix etc, has hdr capability and plays UHDs so plenty of nice features.
The new "project Scorpio" xbox coming out next Christmas will be a lot more expensive and will only really benefit you if you want to play in 4k.
