  • This looks like a terrible ideal tbh. Too many zips, which will eventually leak now matter how good the jacket is. Would be so so sweaty, basically boiling yourself in a bag and I Don't see how its any better than waterproof trousers and jacket. After years of commuting I just cycle in different clothes to what I'll be wearing all day and change in work, this way you're not wearing wet or sweaty clothes.

  • This is the way to go. I use sealskins waterproof socks, the rest is just my normal riding gear, quick change when I get to work, wet stuff on a radiator, dry for the ride home.
