My Humu.
2nd one I've owned. Both of them have been pretty poorly made and the dropouts/track ends haven't been even close to parallel. Doesn't stop em being fun though!
I dunno if Kona see them as a novelty kinda thing or what, I'd hope they at least make a bit more effort with the ti ones.
This one I took the time to sort the alignment out and it now rides great.

Was about to post that. it's getting more mental with ever iteration. Needs USD Marzocchi's for ultra rad points.

I have eBay notifications set up. Just waiting for an affordable shiver.

Dual crown Zocchi Shivers would be rad :) bit nose heavy, but rad

I want to build my MTB up again dinglespeed. One gear for the relatively flat commute and getting to the trail-head, and another for pottering round trails. I'm thinking this combination (circled figures) could work well. I'll use a butchered road mech for a tensioner.

Do you really want that low an off road gear? A standard 2:1 ratio isn't that bad for spinning along to the trail, and would be less of a pain to deal with. On the other hand, if you're using a mech to tension and not trying to match the chain length between gears, you could use a 34:17-20 and 34:14 combo, not have to use two different front rings, and get a slightly higher road ratio to boot, or a 36 front for closer to 70gi on the road

It's a good point, if I'm using a mech to tension anyway, there's no need to totally match the tooth difference. That said, I think I might go 34/18 and 38/14 to start, see how that works out.

If nothing else, it'll kill those bottle cages.

They will burn and the molten drips of burning plastic will make a little fizzing noise as they drop to the ground............ (iknowthesethings) :)

Where can I get a cog like that? It's good enough for jewellery.

Looks like Boone Ti, he does occasionally take orders but most of the time he makes actual jewellery.
Link please.
