I bought couple of Jerseys from aliexpress and I was not expecting much. Now I got to say they are not bad quality for the price. Sometimes its worth trusting you lot.

Yup, the kind of quality you can get for $15 makes it very hard justifying up to £200 for a short sleeve jersey.

The sad thing is that the Chinese seem to wildly overestimate the business potential of copying designs. I'd predict that the first AliEx seller to just pick som pantone colours at random and churn out a bunch of monochrome jerseys would make a lot of dorrah.

Spexcel do say the fit is smaller than usual but how much smaller was yours, Would you normally be a large and it was tiny or jsut a bit undersized?

Absolutely. I would be perfectly happy with same styling without the idiotic 1 to 1 copying. At least they should strip the visible logos and change the texts etc.

Normally a medium (craft/santini etc), ordered a medium fake rapha brevet jersey and it was slightly too small around the chest (the bands don't stretch), flogged it to a mate and ordered large jersey and large gilet.

Large gilet is tiny, can't even do the zip up. Note that I'm 6'6" with 34" ish waist and 40-42" chest.

Have ordered XL gilet now and I'm hoping it's big enough...

What's the fit on the jacket like?

Jersey hasn't turned up yet, confident large will fit OK. It's not a jacket, just short sleeve jersey. My new commute has a fair bit of unlit country roads so wanted something reflective without looking like a hi viz legend.

You'd be lucky. I struggled to find a straight 1 1/8" cx fork last time I checked, never mind 1".
