Awesome GB 1-2 today in the Men. Hope the 4 Women in big crash in the main are ok. Feel for Alise Post, another one lost whilst out front. I saw a bit of the racing yesterday, pics Pajon & Evans TT's.

My son Tre Whyte has rode BMX for the past 4 years. In 2014 the BMX world championships was held in Holland, Tre was not selected but took it upon himself to go and he won a bronze medal for great Britain gaining points for Rio 2016.
Tre left his family and friends and moved to Manchester to dedicate his life to this sport. Today Tre received an email informing him he had not been selected and would not be going to the world championships in Columbia, this means he cannot participate at Rio 2016.
Please help me by signing this petition and get British cycling to over ride the decision and take my son to the Olympics.

I started this year @ 33 years, did a couple of the London BMX series races. One of the guys I ride regularly with its 48.
Come down to Burgess Park if you're near Peckham, there are normally a couple of older folk making use of the free rock up and ride sessions over the weekend. -

I don't necessarily race, but I still have blasts around tracks every now and again on my cruiser. Would also like to get back into racing (after a 31 year hiatus), but family duties are saying 'no' (for now...). Merton is my local track, pretty good, but want to get over to Peckham at some point.

Awful. Apparently a chain across the bottom of the 8m hill wasn't removed before the session began.

Just seen men's main looks like TvG almost over the bars on 2nd straight & Kye unlucky to get tangled up in the 2nd berm crash else p3 was on. Crazy stuff.

Ladies race was exciting with one looping out backwards unable to bail out/eject because clipped in :)
trying not to throw direct spoliers but mens semi was a bit savage with i think a columbian taking out a kiwi with what looked like a direct elbow attack in the berm.
Still amazed at what they do as i struggle to ride round a carpark on BMX :)
Tomorrow from 4.25pm
