Forgive the unforgivable photo, but my frameset is with me at last, after a short period held hostage by Parcelforce with a £40 ransom.
Feels very light, I haven't quite sussed out the saddle clamp yet and I've only got a pretty crap wheelset which isn't going to do it any favours, but I'm impressed so far, with the product at least.

Looks good, looking forward to build pics. Any wind broke?
-
• #4980
I think I can only start breaking the wind when I get the broken wind pipe into speed.

Cheers, it's very tempting although having to buy new wheels makes it less so.

Recommended Chinese carbon cross frames? Ideally after flat disc mount, BB30 (for eccentric bottom bracket usage), thru axle front (and maybe rear too).
Edit: looks like such a thing does not exist yet, though moulds are being created.

Anyone know a cheap clone of the SMP saddle?

Search for carbon saddle at ebay or aliexpress

and @negaatio I found that "leather mtb saddle" was the best search string

That leather one actually doesn't look too bad! Ordered

Yeah I have one, is pretty good. Padding is nice and firm. Has the removable back like a legit one two, for whatever that is worth

watermelon 'morchvelo' jersey and bibs arrived for me - ordered XL which has turned out to be to be slightly too big for me and comparable to size Large Wiggle/Primal kit (I'm 6 ft 2, 32 inch waist) Branding is JIA SHASHA rather than Morvelo. I've reordered a size L set and have my fingers crossed it'll fit better.
Not sure what to do with the XL kit. Anyone want it in exchange for some ciders? I haven't worn the shorts so count yourselves lucky.

Any recommendations for full carbon track fork with smallest rake possible? Want to have my Pre Cursa bit tighter.
-
• #4991
If you've already decided to ignore handling, just flip the forks round.

I would say take the Hylix TT / Track forks on eBay if you need drilled.
£66 posted, light, 37mm rake.

Are you running that Scott road fork? Probably has 45ish mm rake - just find a second hand factory Alpina fork on here.

Looks like this took about 18 days to get to you? About right?
-
• #4995
Sounds about right, circa 3 weeks.
I have ridden 1000km and I am still happy with it

I've bought a few spexcel things, postage is pretty slow but quality's good. Actually, got a copy of the rapha gilet from them in large but it's too small, trying to shift it to a mate but if anyone's interested, let me know.
Cheers. Just seen that there's a 6% discount if ordered direct from their site. A bit more than I wanted to pay but will bear them in mind.
