Newcastle's 51,885-strong crowd was the sixth highest in Europe on Saturday - despite the team playing in the Championship

I think it's more to do with them being a one club city and most of the fans have fuck all else to live for
-

How come Everton don't get crowds like that then? Living in the shadow of their more illustrious neighbours?

Went to see Palace play again on Saturday (thanks @Tricky_Business ) - best atmosphere of any ground I've been to in the league by miles. Fans really deserve some better football though.

Well if there was just one club in Liverpool it wouldn't be hard to fill a £52k stadium, that's even without the Norwegians, Irish and Cockneys

Biggest game of the season tonight. Always anxious beforehand, never really that enjoyable. Let's hope we wipe the floor with them. Though I can see Pug scoring his first goal in about 10 months

Just looking at the Gazette for the reaction to the 'Boro game yeasterday and I came across this gem of a comment.

If we were to bring in someone like Big Sam and get rid of some of our players and buy some more in January we might just do it. If me pigeons are not flying good then i sell them to Johns Pet Shop and i buy me some more this is what we need to do. -

I'll be at the emirates on Saturday to watch 'Boro get destroyed. That'll be fun. When we get Big Sam I'm going to buy some red trousers and a Harlequins season ticket.

What do you do when your pigeons are not flying good soft lad? Turn them into an artisan pie?

Ever been there? Pretty much the whole place sings. Big difference from the shit tourist-traps that most PL grounds are these days.
Whatever those skag heads can do we can do better/worse
