xtr pedals
My advice - don't go there.
Very slight weight saving over XT but massively increased wear and some potential safety issues (google M980 XTR pedal failure). I have worn out 3 pairs of XTR M980s one of which the pedal body separated from the shaft. M960 may have fixed it but I'm not tempted to find out.
XT replacements have not had the wear or separation issues. Remember seeing one of the Cape Epic pro bikes wearing XT with caption 'XT pedals for increased reliability'
Nice bike BTW - what's the frame?

A Humu?

1st rule of the Humu: You do not talk about the Humu.

are those supposed to be cool or good or something :D looks awful with the unnecessary tube

It's a nod to some old Klunkers

The Humus have been in Konas range for years, it's a nod back to the old beach cruiser style of american bicycles, i think the early ones had a coaster rear brake, later replaced with v-brakes.
Kona have done the odd special frameset and limited colourways on them in the past.
Always fancied one. Used to be cheap bikes, don't know the current pricing. -

800 dorrah I think. For the bike.

Can't stop seeing the tube tho

Heres the one i wanted back in the 90's :)
Stars and stripes LE.
I remember the MBA bike test as they did a bit of jumping on one............something it wasn't actually designed for....... supposed to be really nice riding steel frames.
Last time i looked a few years ago the v-braked version was around £390
