Was rock solid and I ended up in the X-Talons, could have done with road shoes frankly.
Same at MACCL rd1 really. Felt for those running in spikes.

Have a look at Saucony Xodus. Grippy vibram sole thats good offroad when wet or dry, plus deep cushioning like a road shoe.
I'll still get the x-tallons out when its more mud than wet.

I also had my first XC round today. I'm getting faster!
Turned up with X Talons and a choice of track spikes or 18mm spikes. Was rock solid and I ended up in the X-Talons, could have done with road shoes frankly.
