Making some braised schezuan chilli lamb belly, though it's not mouth tingling enough for me yet, so going to need to add more schezuan!

That looks real damn good. Maybe given me inspiration for this weekend. I guess I can get goat in Brixton, where's best @>>>>>>

Go to Dombey's in Market Row, that's where all the old Jamaican grandmas get theirs...
-
• #24905
Give yourself time, you need at least twelve hours to marinade the meat...
-
• #24906
And if Dombey's are out, they often are, go to Michael's on Atlantic Road...

Cabrito al pastor is now what I want for lunch. Damn you all.

Haven't made curried goat in 10 years, might have to grab some too! Glad @>>>>>> confirmed Dombey's and Michaels as the good goat butchers in Brixton, those are the places I'd go too.
Going Smokey Jerkey tonight. Cannot wait, that place is too good.

Goat curry does take quite a bit of prep but it's well worth the effort...
I will check this roti lady out when I'm over...

I want goat.
I'm filming some corporate today and they have tiny little canapés and all I can think of is that I want goat.
Goat.

LOL. You go out and get cabrito at numerous Mexican food places. Never tried to to cook it.
I would be up for trying that though. My BBQ isn't big enough for a whole goat.
This place does goat and is promoting "Goatober"
But no cabrito al pastor recipe and no whole goats so that a fucking fail.
This looks like what I am used to. Even used to shop at one of their stores.

All this talk of goat.
I'll be at The Vine in West Bromwich tomorrow for my usual pre match goat curry:
So. Fucking. Good. £6.50.

Anyone know anywhere in Peckham I can get goat?
-
• #24923
Probably a few places on the Rye but the butchers along there have never inspired me with confidence.
William Rose or Flock and Herd?
We'd love to have you both over and we can cook goat!

Long shot but anywhere near the Strand I can get goat? I could see if Jinn or something would deliver some? Not sure these investment bankers would appreciate the nuances when it arrives.

what temp did you set your smoker for, and how long did you cook for?
Fantastic, very jealous... Chopped goat is really expensive compared to other meat here, I don't understand... My in-laws roasted some the other week and I got the leftovers, they went back in the oven and straight into some tacos... Delicious...
Curry goat is one of the best things ever...
