Any disc rotors favoured for cross?
I know solid rotors seemed to be used a few years ago in muddy conditions when racers were going through pads inside an hour. Seems like Avid at least have stopped producing them.

Sram centerline would be my recommendation.

Got my Merida CX500 last week - second commute today, and having swapped the stem for a 120mm to accommodate my monkey arms, I'm really pleased. £750 at Start - 25% off new price - and they didn't charge me the usual 10% extra of the voucher value as normal for sale bikes through Cyclescheme.
Really nice bike for the money: 5800 feels much crisper than the 105 on my 2010 Genesis Equilibrium, and hoods are much nicer; 36-46 chainset better for the sort of riding I do; spyres work well now they're bedding in; full carbon fork; 68mm threaded bb; internal cables... Wheels and tyres are a bit sluggish but what did you expect? Missing threads for a 4-point rack but that's about it. Great bike.

Looking for a SSCX frame (I have a fork), with 1 1/8th headtube and BSA bottom bracket. Anyone got anything like a Pomp V4, Kona Paddywagon, All City Nature Boy? I would be looking for an XL in any of those.

Charge Plug 1 in pink reduced down to 399 and replace the fork
There's an XL Singular with Phil Wood EBB over on singletrack

Link to the singular?

I've got a Large Giant TCX SLR2 frame, fork, seatpost, cranks for sale - £300 - can chuck in some tyres/saddle etc if needed. Good condition and used as a commuter for around 9 months, very little actual racing :(

Need some new tyres - any recommendations? This isn't for racing, so weight isn't the priority though obviously lighter is nice, all other things being equal.
Mostly will be for bouncing around on flinty paths, often muddy, often hitting concealed rocks and roots hard. So need to be tough - managed to kill a Racing Ralph the other day, but obviously that's going to happen with that tyre.
Oh, and tubeless too. -

What tyres did you have on it? Looking for some widish road tyres for my cx

Is there anyone out there who has £899 pounds and wants a Raleigh RX Pro (orange) size 54?
There's one going for that price at Blue Door Bikes in Crystal Palace....

• #4046
Raleigh RX Pro Cor, that's a right bargain. Would - but too late for me!

Here if anyone's interested in other, well priced Raleigh CX bikes

Any good deals on cx wheelsets? <1600g?
-
• #4049
Disc? You won't find many alloy wheelsets below 1600 grams without spending a fair amount of money.
Novatec CXD are probably as lightweight and cheap as I'd want to go. 1500 grams and £350.
The Kinesis Crosslight wheels are a bit cheaper, a bit heavier (1650g) and, I suspect, given their higher spoke count, a bit more durable.

Hi people, I want to buy a crossbike but I don't know exactly what size I have to take.
I used to ride a 56x56cm with my fixed gear.

This is what I want to buy
Can someone help me?
Looks good @blacklisted
