That's right. Those frames are made by Mielec so probably you can ask for a copy of it. With adjusting the details like polished lugs and stuff.
Edit: if you will have any problems with communication with them or just translation feel free to ask for help I'm native polish speaker. -

Aight so i need a bit of help.
Im ordering a frame from Robert, and really want a tapered headtube.
Robert has asked what 'kind/standard tapered headset i want to use'
Im not exactly a bike expert guy, so could someone explain what he means? Thanks a lot, and sorry about all the text - i know i for one prefer looking at the pictures:)
Also, can i use normal forks, or do i need special tapered forks?

you need to decide what type of headset to use with your tapered fork.
A straight 44mm headtube will take a tapered steerer using zerostack top and an external-cup bottom. Codes ZS44/28.6 and EC44/40.
If you want invisible headset at the bottom too, you'll need a tapering headtube.

Im sorry but i still dont really understand:/

Straight 44mm headtube with a tapered steerer is the right choice.

send him a lot of pictures.
44mm headtube with tapered fork:
one type of tapered headtube with tapered fork (internal headset berings):
other type of tapered heatube with tapered fork (external headset bearings):

What I did for a friend I helped with the design of the frame was making the headtube drawing so Robert machines it to specifications

The likelihood of what you receive being what you requested, is questionable.

Zerostack is less likely to go wrong in the long term than fully integrated.

and looks better > more hhsb points, but he wanted it integrated

Regret selling the one I owned before, as these are great bikes. Anyone selling one size 54cm-58cm? London collect preferred.

I have heard that aluminium needs heat treatment after welding anyone know if this is done correctly? It can lead to catastrophic failure of welds in a worst case scenario.

Plenty of frames aren't. Aluminium products have a finite service life anyway, they're not Titanium.

Hi, I'm after a new sscx frame to replace my pompino. Emailed Robert yesterday and got a quick reply but I'm not sure if we're on the same wave length.
Pretty much I want it to be 56cm square, around 72 degree head angle and 73 seat angle, a 4cm bb drop and a 15cm head tube. Straight 1 1/8 steerer, canti bosses, 130mm spacing and generous cx clearances.
I made the error of saying I wanted something similar to a Mash CXSS to which he replied he'd already made these frames and to just tell him what tubing. I have a feeling I might just end up with a histogram/parallax copy instead though as I know he has definitely done lots in this design.
Tl;dr want frame, need sscx clearances and geo, don't speak Polish, can somebody help? Donation to forum as payment?!?

You want advice? Get orlowski and you'll get what you pay for without surprises for not much bigger price
-
• #4971
not much bigger price
How much actually is a Mielec these days? Im not sure this is true
-
• #4972
you can probably get a MASH sscx for around the price you'll pay tbh

Their website is now fully in English so I think they do have somebody who speaks English there. Anyway, i be happy to help.

That geo sounds pretty ordinary except for the 4cm bb drop.
Have you tried drawing it up in RattleCAD or BikeCAD?

Thanks for the replies!
Looked into orlowski and rychtarski but once you've gone down that road I'd be looking at 6/700 quid probably which puts it into mash sscx territory, and as for the mash, I really don't want to spend 800 plus for a brand new one. I'm hoping judging by the other prices mielec should come in well under this price.
And yeah ran it on bike cad and the geo isn't a problem, more just the notion of track ends with 130mm spacing and cx clearance. I don't want to lose something in translation and end up with just a track frame.
i think they build those frames anyway, so that chart should do the job...
