Sure was. and great to have Tom there too.
Phil was suggesting ont he way home that we check out Cotteridge park for a potential new weekend court. Keeping things south Birmingham might make it easier when we don't have numbers. and who knows the footfall there might be better for attracting new players than Highgate.
There's a BB court separate, but next to, two tennis courts (one patch). The BB court is narrow, but playable for sure. The pros might outweigh the cons..
Perhaps we could aim to play there next Sunday (23rd)?
