Thanks. No, I usually just make the stuff and forget to take pictures. As I have no intent of selling anything I don't have a website yet. I'm just lazy. There's some pictures of my knives in the knife porn thread though.
@kboy Thanks. I bought some of these 4 / 6 -pronged hole punches that look like little forks. Really good for getting the stitch line straight. The rest is a matter of even pressure and doing things the same way around every hole. There's plenty of room for improvement though.

I'd forgotten about this thread, here are some bits I'm working on at the moment:
Laminated longbow (made from Annelis interior offcuts). finished and tested just this morning!

Quite effective. This is from about 60 yards, through 3 inches of cardboard.

A little work project:
Made these floorboards for my dad's dinghy, from the larch offcuts:

had to repair a dead-knot:

ready to glue the new top on:
IMG_5081 by Samuel Doman, on Flickrand of course, there's loads of work happening on Annelis at the moment (as always!). I'm mostly working on the galley at the moment:

I'm not very good at the internet thing, as I live on the boat most of the time, but we try to keep the facebook page updated when we can: https://www.facebook.com/ketch.annelis/
also building a little carbon fibre r/c racing boat, to my own scow design, with a wing-sail rig, in my spare time:

This isn't really 'my thing', but I had a go at a bit of letter carving for the cart table on Annelis. Pretty happy with how it's going. All designed around the golden ratio.

Looks amazing, strong work pal. When are you setting sail?

Well, I've carved 2016 into it now, so it'll have to be this year. Hoping to catch the Atlantic trades in December, but we'll see how it goes...

Loving your wood skills! I'm slowly developing mine - have posted this in the DIY thread but hey, why not post it again here...
Kitchen 'dresser'. Sorry to use quote marks, but it's not exactly a traditional dresser. Having fun with this, though it's taking ages to do as I fit it around work and riding.

Can it plane?

That's really nice. I'd love to have the time to build myself something really useful and perfectly designed for my needs. Meanwhile building stuff for other people, here's a platform bed incorporating a wardrobe and desk I just finished

Does anyone know of any courses to go on like framebuilding or making things or skill enhancing or photography etc type courses?
I've got some holidays left over and think it would be cool to go away do that can be anywhere in Europe!

For various reasons, I haven't carved anything for about six years now. It really annoys me that I'm not making stuff, as it's always been a huge part of my life, so I'm never quite 'balanced' without it.
Three new Pfeil gouges arrived in the post this morning and some wood is on the way. I'd really like to get back into it this Winter.

Hope this fits here...
I have just started my own Screen Printing company... "Manson's Press".
Been working as a printer for 5 years for a company in Bermondsey and was struggling to not be my own boss so have set up on my own.
Aiming to print some really hard techniques in small runs of flat stock paper printing for exhibitions. Working with illustrators and designer to turn their digital creations into amazing pieces that they can sell to put bread on the table.
fingers crossed i am not just another small fish drowning in the massive pond that is the London art "scene".
Here is some stuff i have been working on over the last month... sorry for the massive photo spamming.
can follow my progress on instagram if you are that way inclined.... https://www.instagram.com/mansonspress/

I don't know if that counts - it's just a hobby - but I'm making pots. All sorts usable, bowls, mugs, jars, etc.

They are thrown on the wheel - any lids and spouts are thrown separately, and handles are made and attached when the pots are a bit drier. Haven't got any process shots but I'll dig out a pic from before the firing.
I'm a "Jack of all trades, master of none" kind of person.
I really love working with my hands and I do it as a diversion. Good thing I work in IT...
In the last few years I have:
Yesterday I made this. I bought some leather for a project and wanted to try out my stitching. And since I cant afford a real @31trum wallet...
