Rode an early season 300k on that with a ziptie around it.
It was getting bigger during the ride so unfortunately that frame had to be retired.

It was going to be a training bike on a roller but an alternative future was a jubilee clip which is precisely the way I was going to approach it now. It is an old road bike so I'm just going to make it last a while longer but plump it up with some tyres and run it SS or fixed. Thanks all.

A common problem with Alan's, for which the usual remedy is to [cough] slip a hot ring over your tube [cough]...

Need to park near RSA / Savoy on Friday all day. Can't see any parking that I can reserve in advance. Any tips? The Savoy is valet and non reservable, St Martins NCP appears un-bookable. Others are miles away and we have quite a lot of camera kit so can't really hike far. Could pull over, unload, then drive away to park I suppose but a faff.
Anyone work in the area with parking? Have dollar.

Some while ago there was a bike posted on here that was stripped to raw alu and drawn over with a sharpie. I i think it could have been a cannondale. I do recall it split opinions.
Anyone got a link?

Does anyone know if Sean Conway's cycling shoes are Giro Republic LX Road Shoes? They're just what I want from Santa's bulging sack. Fanx.

Wouldn't mess about with a dodgy head tube. Might be fine, might not be.

It's only going to be yet another dog in the kennel so nobody but me will ride it. I won't be thrashing about on it and I'm going to mark the crack and see if it grows. If it doesn't change or is slow to grow then nothing lost really. If it catastrophically fails then it won't be far (or fast) to fall.

best mudguards for track bike with 23/25 mm tyres? Clearances similar to a road bike. sub £50. race blades?
Sadly not. I don't think there are that many good sounding, waterproof speakers out there.
