I am moving house soon to somewhere smaller and so won't be able to accommodate the whole of my bike collection, so reluctantly will be selling a good few of them here...
First in line, this is a 2015 B'Twin Triban 540 road bike. Size is given as Large, and I should think equates to 60cm in traditional sizing, so would be suitable for riders of 5'8" to slightly over 6". I should make clear that this isn't one of B'Twin's many budget offerings, for which they're largely recognised for, but one of their top line bikes, positioned just below their top of the line carbon framed offerings in their range's hierarchy. This is also an almost new bike (released by B'Twin last year) and has only been little used, so the frame metal will have suffered v little fatigue, and will give you that extra bit of stiffness if you'd choose to use it for racing:) It's kitted with Shimano 105 for the most part, and has a Mavic Aksium wheelset, so has parts deserving of the frame. I've also upgraded a few things- the saddle is a new Boardman titanium railed one, and the seatpost is a carbon one by SX Force. The cassette is Ultegra. Not part of the groupset are B'Twin's own brand rear brake and an unbranded (similar looking) front one, as well as a Prowheel bottom bracket. Some other changes, I've made myself- I've changed the original 11 speed 105 shifters for their 10 speed equivalent (and the chain/cassette at the same time) and replaced the original carbon B'Twin forks for a Specialized set, and changed the original black 105 equivalent chainset for a silver coloured one. Conti Team Race folding tyres replaced the originals.
All in great working order. The wheels particularly are pretty much as new, showing no visible wear to the braking surface. Parts show minimum wear and chain/cassette are almost new. Cosmetically, the parts have only one or two scuffs and some heel rub on the chainset. However, the frame shows some more noticeable marks, with the top tube having scuffs and a few scratches (I've touched these up), but elsewhere there's only one or two marks around the frame. Everything works perfectly, and I've recently serviced the bike, and it's ready to race:) This is one of the lighter B'Twin bikes, the weight only adding up to around 6/7kg.
If interested, I can swap the pedals for a set of clipless ones.
And, as mentioned above, the bike is positioned immediately under B'Twin's carbon bikes within their hierarchy, and therefore sells for £650. In consideration of the frames top tube marks and that I've changed it to a 10 speed bike, I've decided to set the price at £225.
The bike's located in Camberwell, but I'd consider posting it.
Second up, we have this 58cm two tone bronze/light gold 1993 Dyna-Tech Corsa 405. Frame tubing is a mix of Titanium and what is most likely Reynolds steel. A couple of small chips to the paint job but no dents. Very well done paint job on this, and still looking v smart, so has obviously been properly looked after.
I have just serviced it so it works really well. Size wise, would suit someone 5ft to 6ft ish.
Nearly new 700x23 Conti Hardshell tyres on Mavic
195NE rims / Exage hubs
San Marco Rolls saddle
Wellgo alloy pedals
Complete Shimano Exage 500EX/RX100 groupset 7x2 speed (with a cassette, not a freewheel) - all the bike's original spec, except for where I've upgraded the wheels and saddle, but these are from the same era as the bike. Bars stem and seatpost are Raleigh/Dyna-Tech branded.
All in great working order. The wheels are an excellent lightweight upgrade, and are pretty much new, showing no wear to the braking surface anodizing besides a minute amount to the front, so look to have done a minimum number of miles. And with the titanium/steel frame, weight only adds up to around 10kg.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot
