Steve Bruce isn't a bad manager at all. Considering some of the dross who were also linked you've not come out of it too badly.

The Championship is fucking hilarious at the moment.... all the loony owners and shifty managers.
-
• #131280
Something for you to look forward to next season then...
-
• #131281
:) very drole.
We're already at a quarter of our points target and up on points per game YoY (1.29 vs 1.13) so i'm quietly confident. Our actual football is still shite though.
...begins 20 game losing streak

Can't wait for Billy Davies to be reappointed as Derby manager once McClaren gets sacked (again).
-
• #131283
I hope it works as well as it did last time before he got his head turned by a bargain bin in Sports Direct. I can't wait for Forest to reappoint Billy Davies...

Great deal but nike kits are shite apart from couple
-

€60m p/a for 15 years sounds tgtbt.
No to Conte getting sacked and a big fat no to Rooney. He ain't Gullit or Zola.
If anyone thinks Nike is calling the shots at Man Utd or the FA it's time for an upgrade on your tinfoil hat.
That 300k a week deal is one man's fault and it's not Jose. -
• #131290
Rooney's 300k a week = 15m/year, so a 1/4 of Nike's annual payment to Chelsea
Do Nike want Rooney doing an RVP and not playing very often for Man U (although that was mostly injury) or by effectively paying his wages for Chelsea have him playing more often and getting more exposure (and a whole new set of fans to sell Nike shit to).
-
• #131291
That ship has sailed some years ago. Rooney isn't even in the top 10 shirt sales this season.
MLS or China next for him.
-
• #131292
There are some Evertonian bellends that actually want him back!?
🤔🙄

I'm not lying when I say I would rather go to Anfield with H from Steps, James Corden and Liam Gallagher than go to an England game
What's wrong with H from Steps?
-
• #131294
RIP, H from Steps...
-
• #131295
Fuck me it's all gone wrong pretty quickly in West London. I had him to at least make it to Christmas.

nottingham forest to be sold for just less than 1 seasons worth of chelsea shirt sponsorship
-
• #131297
When's Pisti's birthday? Maybe we could all chip in and get him this for £197.94 (plus £9.99 p&p).
-
• #131298

Needs moar Slippy...
I don't think it's an issue for the vast majority. It was 10 years ago. Even the McLeish hatred was more for him being shit than being a Bluenose.
Support is certainly not universal, but more for not being an inspiring choice than having managed Small Heath. We're hanging on to the hope that he's done promotion enough times before and can do it again. I don't think anyone thinks he's going to be massively long term.
Get a few wins and he'll be fine but I don't expect him (or anyone) to get much leeway if we don't start improving fast.
Still - at least it's not Schteve.
