Was it anyone on here on the B>B just after lunch today? Group going the other way to me over the crossing at Warmley station. I was out of breath after caning it from Bitton so no friendly nods were issued on my part.

hi there im selling this 52cm aluminium dolan precursa frameset for £250

with saddle selle italia saddle
48 tooth espresso crankset (165)
deda pista track handlebars
and carbon alpina fork.

This is a track bike but i have been using it as a commuter bike.
the frameset has to be picked up from bath.

I could also add the wheelset for £45

Dropped an old frame off at a sprayers in Gloucester this week. Quoted a hell of a lot less than Argos ( who are very good ). Powdercoating is even cheaper, around 50 quid plus VAT.
Will be interesting to see how this turns out - will let you know.

How did you get on with that place? I've got a frame that deserves a spruce up - will probably go with griffs but would be interested to hear alternatives.

DJ - yes, based just south of Gloucester. Picked up the frame a couple of weeks ago, went with a wet paint and lacquer finish in the end. The colour was called 'Maserati blue' which does sound dead ostentatious, but turned out a bit like Argos's old 'flam blue'.
It cost £50, which is rather cheap for the frame only.
Have started building it up, so will take a couple of shots - welcome to come and have a look also. I'm happy with the quality.

The operation was called 'Gloucester Coatings' - they're on the net.

My old man lives in Newent (Upleadon to be precise)
I'll let him know you're in the area and should be avoided at all costs.
