Hi wingnutone. It is not that big, but definitely there. It is 100% safe, there is no crack or whatsoever, just cosmetical damage... Keep in mind that a Colnago super in this condition and size without that dent normally will cost more then £1000..

Beautiful and hard to find refurbished Colnago Super for sale. Original paint and decals as far as I can see. Produced in the period between 1978 and 1980 since it has the more modern recessed-nut brake mounting (which Colnago didn't use before 1977) and it also uses over the bb cable routing and has a clamp on front derailleur. Moreover started colnago to stamp the chainstays in 1981, so it is from before that year.
Bike is in a good condition, unfortunately there is a dent in the toptube, which you can clearly see on the pictures. The chrome of the fork is still in a very good condition. The frame itself is made out of Columbus SL tubing and is painted in the very typical red paintwork - the so called "Saronni red" - Furthermore is the bike equiped with a Campagnolo Nuovo record group which also is in a very good condition.
