I had a poke about the DH zone at Swinley yesterday and bumped in to one of the trail builders there.
They've hit a snag in getting it open - a dedicated trail builder needs to bought on board to complete the zone, it seems. Nice, but unfortunately pricey. The Crown Estate needs to get their wallet open and are in the tendering process, but these things take time and a good look at their budget priorities. It's likely that new, Trail Team Swinley built trails will be opened before the DH Zone and TTS are looking for volunteers to help them get underway this November.
