All my parts have arrived for my niner rlt9! Bar the wheels (loaners) which I'll pick up from a mate some time next week as I'm away from Wednesday for a week!
Build will be done then.

Built and first ride complete. Did not dissapoint. Shimano know how to make brakes too, even for bog standard Deore. Wheelset will be first to be upgraded but I just want to enjoy riding it first.
Mismatched 3rd bottle cage will go too. Heres a pic of the massive clearance:

I would like S.Record Aero + Drilled 40cm Giro D'italia's but overall I'm very happy with this build. Very comfortable and fast. Wheels are holdin up well, Mavic G.E.L 280's + db spokes & 75-80kgs worth of human.

Keep a look out for a GL330 or GP4 in the appropriate drilling so that you have something to turn to when the rear rim starts cracking around the spoke holes.

Been riding my beaten up Lejeune as a commuter steed, and a small crack on the top tube has caught my eye.. Didn't look great and since I've seen it I can swear I hear a grinding sound going up hills or really cranking it... Definitely just being paranoid though.
I took it round to Winston Vaz who agrees it's certainly suspect. He's offered to replace the top tube in the same tubing (653 o.s) for a good price.
Debating whether it's worth it, and if I did get it done should I have the whole thing repainted? Or just varnish over the repair.
On a side note getting the top tube replaced will also fix a big dent, which isn't worth fixing on its own.
Anyway, not sure what to do. Any opinions? May just leave it and see if it propogates further round the tube.
