rear wheel isnt a solid disc wheel as such, its a shallow clincher with about 25g of aircraft covering film stretched over it and the front is lighter than it looks, lighter than any of my modern wheels. fork is carbon steerer and under 300g

52x19 although there are equivalents using a smaller chainring/sprocket combo for similar gear inches and lighter weight.

No it's not. Stem caps are just there to preload the bearings. Once the stem is tightened, job done. People have been removing them for years.
