Wasn't as cold or as wet as I was anticipating at 5:30 this morning. Thermal top & jeans made for a warm commute.
Quiet & quick. 9/10

I understand your annoyance, though hitting thst button is often the safest way to head into the northbound route - guilty of using this daily, apologies if I've caused you annoyance though. It's not personal

People on Oxford Street, fucking hell.
Commute through there daily and usually have to ding at the crowds who just run out in front of traffic at the crossing by TCR station, but today riding in to use the gym at work I just had the worst fucking thing I've seen so far.
Woman runs straight out into traffic without looking, also dragging two children in a chain behind her. I ride at a sensible speed down Oxford Street because of the likelyhood of these kind of shennanegans so was able to stop in time, but almost got rear ended by the taxi behind me - and imagine if the taxi was where I was?
I mean ... she ran out blind into the road - and dragged two children into the road with her.
Fucking hell.

Gah someone broken down in the Rotherhithe tunnel while Tower Bridge is closed... think the worst traffic jam I've ever been in. So grateful for never having to commute by car.

A van broke down in Blackwall last night and it was backed up to Bromley By Bow in minutes. On a weekday the jam reaches Leytonstone in about half an hour. About 6 miles of two lane traffic not moving.

Wasn't this the plot of a Ben Elton book?

Repeatedly passed and was passed by a bloke on an electric skateboard this morning, riding along Tooley St, across London Bridge and up towards Old St Roundabout. There's something slightly unnerving about them, not sure what it is, but it might have to do with the fact that they have no visible means of stopping suddenly if it's needed.

^^ Seen this guy a couple of times. He's gonna cause an accident soon, almost caused a pile up last week coming off of Tooley street as he overtook a bus blindly. Ergh.
And today some guy on an electric scooter doing the same thing. -

Some S.O.B stole my seat tube clamp between thursday pm and sunday pm from the bike racks on my private street.. so there is a good chance it was one of my neighbors. I noticed a lot of visitor bikes around at the weekend... Tried to bus and tube with my new credit card which didn't work and left me looking like some loser who doesn't know how to use public transport.
How much will a clamp set me back in local cycle surgery.. Wankers..

Black Mercedes-Benz 4x4 close overtakes me then hits a red light. I cruise by. Lights turn green. He attempts to undertake me and is thwarted by a stopping bus. I could feel his anger. Finally he gets alongside calls me a c*nt and invites me to suck his dick. Is that possible? Answers on a postcard......

Close pass by lady in a Mercedes. She gets stuck at a traffic light, I try to get her attention as I filter, but she's texting.

Rlj? Think of the children!
That sounds very annoying.... Heading into the city or away? Might avoid!
