Like the rusty death trap. Is bamboo (?) bars actually strong enough or are you at some point going to start talking like Richie havens? I know bamboo is pretty tough so wouldn't be surprised if it was fine.
-

So far the bamboo's fine! Though I'm probably not going to be able to tell whether the bar itself is wobbly due to the shitty clamping/shimming or due to cracks LOL

I think it was more a case of desperation as his commuter got stolen and he didnt want to leave his tourer locked at southmead all day and overnight (hes a doctor)

I thought brakeless was fun until my knees starting killing me (even on 49/19). Slapped on a brake and the pain disappeared like snow in the sun. Wasn't even skidding all day er day.

to be honest bike fit has a lot to do with it not just riding fixed. I worked Fixed brakeless for years in Bristol mate, come on now
What you need for the gears bike? I have lots of shit laying around

I know I know it is fine tbh.
I've had really bad knees since doing ligament and cartilage damage back when I kicked ball n sometimes it flares up.Jus need to build it now I think. Though will be getting some news bits soon come.

Depends really. To this day, my dolan fits better than all my other bikes, but family has a history of shite knees and it's effected me aswell, so hey ho, brake it is. Love bikes, but love knees a little more.
bridgestone is running a 2x1 set up cause one of the brifters broke ( no points for guessing which) the aerospoke was already on when i bought it secondhand (with SOLID rubber tyres gasp) "bartape" is $0.20 badminton overgrip from china >:)
rusty biek is made from 100% spares and 100% organic! handlebar is shimmed with random aluminium pieces from a broken toy helicopter, and the seatpost was hammered into the seattube cause it just barely fit. its a deathtrap but just puts a smile on my face whenever i ride it.
