If you halved your price from £800 I still don't know if they'd sell.

Are you well acquainted with yourself then you daft bugger?

These average wheels can be had for less than a grand, brand new, with tyres.
How is £800 for some raced wheels with 10 months use, that have needed a hub replacement, anything close to a good deal?
What planet are you on?

Top banter.
I'm assuming you've got a link to these <£1000 wheels and have considerable experience of riding this particular wheelset in order to deem it "average"?
They're the stiffest wheelset I'm ever ridden, and I've been on Enves for an entire season previously.

The product reviews out there certainly all seem to disagree with your verdict:

Well, offer of £700 received so thanks for the expert opinion from the keyboard warriors.

You could've easily got £900 for that if you had chosen a dumber forum.

Congratulations.
I'd imagine that @Velocio is looking forward to the sizeable donation that you'll be making to the forum then.
After all, the forum doesn't run itself, and you've just saved, what, £70 in ebay fees and £24 paypal fees?
£40 sounds like a nice round number.
On behalf of @Velocio and the rest of this forum of snooty keyboard warriors and armchair experts, thanks in advance for your generosity.

Heh, I doubt that is going to happen.
Though joy of joys, slide in GBP further pushes up costs. Looks fine this month, but having just completed a donation drive a few months ago, it's a bit worrying that the GBP slide puts us close to the line again. Still fine, but if it continues to slide in the future I'll strongly consider making classifieds a paid thing (will solve the cross-posting thing too I suspect).

Oh, and I've restored the title so that there is some value in people searching being able to see roughly what things sold for. £700 for the pair of wheels in this case.
Well, it looks like I'm now acquainted with the village idiot around here.
