I'm sure there was an Isuzu Piazza turbo involved in Howards Way.

Yeah, probs. Character innit.

But as Dammit has said a few times, what would I know.
You are missing the point, something is either unique or not - you are asserting that there are degrees of uniqueness, which is untrue. It's like saying someone is partially pregnant.

Audi A4 ragtops are pretty cheap

Loving the progress with this! It needs a light bar next with some of those yellow KC spotlights! Keep on with the updates and get some pictures when you get to the top of that mountain.

Cheers mate, light bar and roof rack are a couple of places down the list after. 3" front lift spindles and front wheels and tyres.

I've also got a gt44 turbo at home that. Reds rebauild. That was earmarked for the mini but now I'm thinking about fabbing up a manifold and carb box for this instead... I heard a good dual port 1600 can take close to 20 pounds of boost with no mods!

Hmm. I think you're all missing the point.
The feeling I want is of bouncing the rev limiter all the way to the shops in a small Spanish town in the 90s.
I wonder if there is such a thing as a good Punto convertible left...

These are very rare now though :(
My uncle has a minter, the 1500 sounds fantastic. Interiors are amaze too. -

Yeah. That might be the answer.

Was delivered new and serviced for ages by the dealer round the corner from me.
£8k is double where the budget started, but barely more than a service on a 911 cab. ;)

Ooh. Weird. Suddenly some other account.

Although looking at it again ^^ it's top money for a car with mismatched tyres and they couldn't even be arsed to clean the carpets.

This was annoying:

Much better:

Fixed now.
@Dramatic_Hammer no, no. I'm going for more like relaxed, effortless retro cool. Like a younger Hank Moody without the price tag and a with a bit more zing.
The sort of thing Benicio del Toro drove as a teenager.

The 1.6 is an horrible engine, 1.2 16v 85 hp all the way.
Had a few mk1 punto, don't mind them, but literally all trashed, 10 years ago they were in the hundreds of pounds value wise lol. A tidy 1.2 cab in period yellow or that metallic red would be about the only one to appreciate. gt turbo are fun, but again, they have all been in every ditch in Essex -

44k miles, owned 14 years. Bit too nice for the 'effortless' target tho.
