The Vegan Thread

Granted a lot of lush stuff is, but it's not all hugely scented; it can be overload if you go in the shops. I prefer to buy online then don't get the sensory overload and can just get the bits I like.
Nice but pricey is a thing one has to deal with in much of life. I do without some things to afford the nice stuff. I think it's worth it, others might not.

I also find that although the initial price for lush may seem steep, it lasts much longer than the cheaper alternatives, so in the long run, I think it seems to work out pretty well. The bonus of being able to get decent samples of stuff to try before you commit to buying a big tub is ace too.

It's good in "cheese" sauce. Generally where you need some savoury hit

No really, put them on everything.
We made nachos the other night using tofutti sour cream, adobo sauce, avocado and nutritional yeast. Bangin.

The cheese I got (cheddar with caramalised red onion) is very very good. £2.40 I think. Well worth it.
