If it drives @danstuff crazy he can always hire a typographer to sort the design out before it goes to the engraver.

Doesn't bother me. I'm fairly relaxed to kerning, it would appear. The existing ones look jolly good to my eyes.

Kerning short words around a tight radius is a lost cause.

Type 2 is anodised after engraving, so it's black on black. If that's what you want, add them to the list.
