3-2-1 Algarve!

A few of you out there may have already heard but for those who haven't, we are proud to pick up the baton this year and give you November Sun 2016, normally hosted by our countrymen in Lisboa. We are excited to throw down a 20 team free tourney for those who can get here, you pay the cost of travel so we'll cover the cost of the tourney (t-shirts will be available to ease the pain on our pockets). Its a 3 day event at the wonderful home of Algarve Bike Polo, Baroa de Sao Joao, Lagos, Algarve, Potrugal. We are the most south western Polo club (if 3-4 players constitutes a club?) in Europe with an amazing 45 x 24 concrete floodlit court to die for. Friday will be for you lot to make your way here for pick ups, then as many rounds as possible on Saturday and double elimination Sunday. I know most of you expect a beach in there somewhere and we advise trying to schedule time out of your lives and come early/stay later, we are cool guys down here and would love to show you around, plus we get a bit more polo too. The village hosts a small selection of cafes/bars/restaurants for you to eat/drink/etc, there is a small guest house with 15 cheap rooms for polo players where you can even take your bikes to your room but I know most of you are on the Polocamp vibe, free camping for all players of course, its the Algarve. In addition to the showers, toilets, shades and stepped seating area, there will be a court side bar and other entertainment to keep you sharp for your games.

Lisboa airport – train to Lagos/lift with Liboa players

We will operate a pick up/car share from Lagos to Barao de Sao joao on friday. We will post pick up point and times nearer event.
