Have no experience of owning operating a day yacht, but was amazed how cheap they come up for, guess it's either a flooded market, wrong time if year to sell (hoist and quayside storage fees are high?) or most boats just always need many thousands spend at any one time therfore they aren't worth much unless perfect?

This 50s 25' teak on oak one off built thing is only 2.5k and doesn't on the surface need all the money in the world immediately spent on it.
Very tempted by something like that to play around on west coast of Scotland
