I'd like to think that Hookem was shouting "Brexit means fucking Brexit, OK?" as he threw the punch.

Ah Neil Hamilton is always a welcome sight.

Is there anyone less fit to hold public office than him? Despicable man.

He's fled for Paris in a tank.

Can't Hookem smuggle himself back to the uk on the back of a lorry, given how easy it is to do according to his party?

Problem is those pesky international policing agreements.

Corbyn leader, McDonnell shadow Chancellor, Diane Abbott shadow Home Secretary. #dreamteam
Go to your constituencies and prepare for government.

I was going to say something positive about the appointment of Nick Brown as chief whip, which is a sign of accepting the useful skills and experience of those who have worked in government before, rather than just rebelled from the back benches. Also the promise of further women in top jobs is positive. But yeah, Abbot and McDonnell. Christ.

• #42666
and your issue with Abbot and McDonnell is..?

I was going to say something positive about the appointment of Nick Brown as chief whip
Ah, now you've finally revealed yourself, you arch-Brownite. :)

Diane "do as I say, not as I do" Abbot makes a career aligning herself with the left of the Labour party, then decides to buy her son a leg up in life that most people could never afford by sending him to private school. She should have fucked off with her tail between her legs years ago.
McDonnell is economically illiterate and out of his depth, and is no better when he opens his mouth. I wouldn't trust him with my kids' pocket money, let alone the economy.
-
• #42671
Careful now.
-
• #42672
suit yourself. people looking out for their kids isn't the strongest argument i've heard about a woman who has years of parliamentary experience, but hey ho. looking forward to seeing her come up against actual neo-fascist amber rudd.
-
• #42673
people looking out for their kids
Which is how the Tories describe the right to privately educate their children at the expense of the overwhelming majority of the population. At least they're not fucking hypocritical about it.
Labour is a fucking shambles, scraping the bottom of an empty barrel of talent. I don't particularly blame Corbyn, smug as he is, we just deserve better.
-
• #42674
If they all threw the same money at their local comp, it might end up a better school than the private one ever could have been.
-

Socialism and private education don't go together...
