Bouhanni gets to race a horse now. Wonder if he'll thump it.
Just watched Lombardia on the turbo. Great race - like a grand tour stage. Diego Rosa is a monster for getting across like he did.

Thnk fuck that homophobic, sexist prick Tinkov isn't going to be cycling anymore, and we won't have to listen to his ideas for the sport.
ASO should create a pro league like the NBA and move it to the pay-for-view television model. Cycling has been promoted enough by the socialist state television channels in France, Spain and Italy for long enough. Millions of people love cycling and always will, so the fan base will not disappear if they are asked to pay a little to see it on television; many of them will and everyone will benefit. Who cares if the old woman who likes to look at the French countryside can’t see the Tour anymore? It’s about creating a good business model that works. That way the teams can also get something out of it and survive. Cycling will become much bigger, better and nicer to watch when it becomes a pure business.

I wasn't sure where to post this. I'm not sure if this guy's a pro cyclist, but his pissy fit is hilare:

who the fuck wears face paint to a fucking bike race and smashes up their best mate's bike?
More importantly, who the fuck calls their own bike "Mad Max"?

He's Italian, no?
I'm not going to criticise, in the heat of the moment these things can happen.
-
• #9087
He's American, his profession is not really bike racing.
-
• #9088
Yeah but, this isn't some freely-supplied sponsors bike, nor even his own bike, it was his mate's bike. At that point surely some self-restraint kicks in. If he really wants to slam something into the road he should try that beautiful face, inexplicably detailed with camo paint.

RHC in pro cycling thread? Trimble must be like ..
-
• #9090
What is it about RHC and male models? I followed this rather rakish looking chap on Insta because of the track bikes and crit racing, then my feed started filling up with modelling pics. Not that I'm complaining, he is a beautiful man.

The object that Naesen had to make a last second adjustment to avoid?

You can unfollow me any time bro

Dani King showed exactly where RHC sits. Roided male models underline it.

• #9095
Yeah, was that a piece of the fence or the finish line timing or what?

Oh I didn't hear about her riding it, and she smashed it totally. Brilliant
With such a busy race schedule I didn’t have much time to prepare for the event so one evening before the race I headed down to my local outdoor track to practise turning right on a track bike. (Something I had never done before). This made me even more nervous as I felt this didn’t come naturally to me.
I’ve been training hard and racing all season so I knew I had good form. Being out the front was tough, especially on a fixed gear bike where you can’t stop pedalling for a split second. I wasn’t aware of the time gap between myself and the 2 chasers behind until I was coming up to lap them. (To my amazement I ended up lapping the whole field) This was the first time I allowed myself to relax knowing I just had to stay upright to win.

The women's field is strong, there's a couple of pro road cyclists, an ex-olympian mtb'er, etc. but none can touch a multiple world champion and olympic gold medal track cyclist.
The men's field is more even and even then Marius Petrache, Romanian national road champ, and Loic Chetout of Cofidis, who have both raced multiple times haven't one any. -
• #9098
How do you get to be in one?

Did Dani King get a HHSB Vig?

She won a Specialized track bike
great winner! I was drunk when I called my pick. Glad to see Gesink back up there in finals of races anyway
