  • I have asked for a refund as the product was not as described, I have not heard from them yet but it is early days.

In fairness I had used them several years ago and they were spot on.

  • Avoid these muppets. They don't give a monkeys about their customers. Delays are rife. communication is responsive, but never what you want to hear. VDS: if you're listening - sort your sh*t out.

  • They will not admit that they have sold me a lemon that will not even fit on standard track hub threads and continue to demand that it is correct. I can not believe this and had asked for a full refund but they are holding firm.

  • It's mail order. You can just send it back for a full refund, you don't need a reason.

  • Yep, you have 14 days after receiving it to tell them you're returning it, then another 14 days after telling them to get it back to them.

  • Thought I would contribute to this thread - I ordered something from velodrome shop that I couldn't find in stock anywhere else (eai keirin bag) and it arrived, exactly as described 2 working days later. No drama.

  • I've had no issues with them either. Ordered SG75 DD and chainring a month or so ago, all on time etc.

  • Thanks guys, they are going to refund me for it and they sent me a postage paid label so all is OK in the end despite the drama in the meantime.

For the record I had ordered and recieved 5Bling gloves from them with no issue and a great price several years ago.

    Cheers

  • Ordered also from them. Ordered last Friday. Was dispatched Monday. Packaging was quite acceptable. Not only do they have a very nice selection but about the best prices I've seen-- and free shipping to boot.

  • Have to say, great service from these guys again. I ordered mid-day on Thursday some cogs and skewers, items were through my letterbox Friday Morning. Packaging was fine, plus some Haribo!
    Great price and service.
In my experience it's been fine to order smaller parts.

  • This blokes has had the same poor service I suffered....

  • I ordered a small item, a BB tool, good automated emails and quick delivery so no complaints here. Item was also chepeast I could find on the web by quite a long way.

  • I've just had to chase them for a tracking number. They're a really crappy CS type of company.

  • No probs from me for the items I've ordered over the last year or so, and I've had free sweets!

  • Got a shirty response telling me to read my email. Obvs the tracking number wasn't on the email.

So Michelle ahs given me a tracking number that doesn't track as they've probably just created it.

  • I ordered a substantial amount of stuff off them about a week ago, never got a confirmation page on the site, no confirmation email but the money came out of my account...dont wanna bad mouth them as they were helpful in the aftermath but didnt fill me with much confidence to order from them again.

  • 000F_CK0££?

  • It's only 2 tubs so nobody is gonna die but they're just crap at Customer Service.

  • BEWARE - This IS looking like standard practice... Tubs purchased at 8.30 a.m. and order confirmed as shipped at 8.54 a.m.
Thought strange as who ships within 25 minutes and after near a week with no item and an upcoming track session e-mailed to ask for the tracking number.
Automated 24 hr response which they did not respond to but had plenty of time to share bollox on their Facebook page all day... Sent a stronger e-mail after 24 hrs and given a tracking number that drew blank and told item will arrive soon?
E-mailed for a refund as tyres now urgent and wanted to go elsewhere (plus warning signs were now going of) and told I would have to wait 14 days to get my money back and that the item will surely arrive before then.
Basically, I believe the item was never in stock and they wing it being a company hiding behind a web-site and spouting as friends to the track community.
Some will get lucky with these %&^&%$£$ and others like myself will waste time and effort I will never get back or be rewarded for as I don't need random gloves for compensation.

  • Customer service and social media are likely not to be done by the same team, but yes you're right, that company simply take your money and then order item from distributors, unless they have it in stock.

  • @starboy have you tried contacting them on social media, they might be more responsive if it's public?

  • Why are people reading this thread and still ordering stuff from them?

  • Maybe most people like myself find the thread afterwards and just want to warn others.... Anyway my credit card company can deal with these bums...

  • I had problems with their payment system-- they were not to blame but the mess of interfaces between their banking provider and my bank--- BUT the fellow at the other end was VERY nice and helpful. Seems a tiny operation but that speaks, I think, more for them than against them. They don't carry everything but they do carry a pretty nice hand chosen selection of kit. I suspect logistics, in contrast to say HubJub, were out-of-house but that, I think, does not matter. Price, packaging, delivery time and quality of goods delivered was excellent. I've ordered from them and will probably again..

  • Can't link the post directly but on Track cycling Buy, Sell or Swap UK

This poor chap seems to have been completely fucked over by Velodrome Shop.
