Cheers. I'm quite liking the Nikon. The hilarious Agfa is good too (pretty sharp) but I'm getting a blue cast and some washed-out shots.
The Fuji instax was the biggest selling camera of 2015 (that isn't also a phone).
I guess Leica shareholders want some of that. They should make a metal, weather sealed instant camera.

rotated 2.5deg, tried to get close to a vertical on the reflection - I think that's what the eye expects?

For anyone interested in portraiture I highly recommend watching Looking For Light: Jane Bown She did amazing things with tri-x for The Observer.

A great photographer; very systematic and straightforward. Her portrait of Samuel Beckett is otherworldly.

She shot just five frames of him (and little or no darkroom manipulation). The contact prints feature in the film.

Fuck me those are good..
Is that Sinéad O'Connor up there?
-
• #12463
Yep.
Looking For Light really takes it's time to show the work properly. And there is so much gold. Recommended.

Just a heads up that I'm selling my old film photography stuff over here:

Nothing of any great note but some of it may be of interest to some of those that come in here.

Looks like I'll have to buy a flatbed scanner. Can't be arsed using the dslr + lightbox method.
Epson v550 etc seem to be the ones...

Just got some snaps back from Eye Culture in Bethnal Green. It's my first time using them after a recommendation from a mate, pretty happy with the results in general and the prices cant be argued with.
The very french looking ones were taken in Isle Sur La Sorgue, and the other was taken in Lake Coniston last April.
All were shot with a Yashica T4 and kodak colour plus 200.
