It's a turbo, you can see a blue Tial? dump valve just to the left of the airfilter.

Couldn't see the pic properly before. Also that's probably not a rotary in that RX7 as I can see 4 branches and the filter and dump valve are not in a factory location. So either that's a 4 rotor (unlikely) or an engine conversion?
