It was pretty much golden when it was new. Totally fresh Bronze. Took about three months to start to darken.
I've only worn it in the sea half a dozen times, each time it has noticeably changed colour.
It definitely goes through phases of being darker and lighter. I've noticed that some water lightens the patina depending in the chemistry. It all adds up to a very pleasing effect.
Looks great. I'm really interested to see how these will wear over time. I've seen quite a few pictures of Panarai Bronzos that look like they've come off the deck of the Titanic. I love patina/WabiSabi etc but the ones I've seen caked in verdigris and corrosion are a bit too much for me.
Guessing you haven't worn yours much in salt water etc since you got it? It looks in great condition with a bit of gentle patina.
